Container Types Explained

Standard Dry Containers

The most common container type. Available in 20ft (TEU) and 40ft (FEU) sizes. Used for general cargo, manufactured goods, and non-perishable commodities.

Refrigerated (Reefer)

Temperature-controlled containers for perishable cargo. Maintain precise temperatures from -30C to +30C. Essential for food, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals.

Flat Rack & Open Top

Specialized containers for oversized, heavy, or out-of-gauge cargo. Used for machinery, vehicles, timber, and construction equipment.

How to Track Your Container

Find Your Container Number

Locate the 11-character container number on your Bill of Lading, booking confirmation, or shipping invoice (e.g. MSCU1234567).
